Our freedoms that we enjoy are in thanks to the sacrifices of service men and women. Our freedom from sin, however, is thanks to the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Salvation is not because of a church, or because of our goodness, but because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
This Memorial Day, we take time out not only to remember those who sacrificed their lives for our country, but ultimately for the One who sacrificed His life for each and every one of our lives.
