At Park, we believe that everyone in the church should be involved somewhere if possible. We have teams for just about everything you can think of. If there is, however, a ministry that we don’t have and you’d like to head up a team for it, tell us, we’d love for you to head up that team!
Park doesn’t run on its own, it needs help, and that’s where you, our volunteers, come in. So check out our teams below. Each team has a contact person listed, so please reach out.
Kids
(Birth - 5th Grade)
Do you have a heart for babies and toddlers? We always invite help when it comes to our youngest members. Whether you want to help in the nursery by rocking babies, changing diapers, and comforting little ones or you want to help our with our preschoolers by singing songs, doing crafts, and reading Bible stories, we welcome you.
If running around, chasing elementary kids is your thing, this team is for you. Teaching our elementary kids about the Lord and singing songs and reading Bible stories is what this is all about. We welcome your help here also!
Youth
(6th - 12th Grade)
As a small group leader, adults build relationships with a small group of students within our youth ministry. These leaders serve as a mentor to students, and through this, are able to invest in students, build lifelong relationships with them, and help them maneuver following Jesus in the real-world.
Can you cook? Wipe down tables? Are you willing to help provide a meal for students and fill their bellies with a meal each Wednesday night? Kitchen team is for you! Even if you are only able to serve once a month, help in the kitchen is quite appreciated!
Are you willing to drive students to and from youth group on Wednesday nights? If you aren’t willing to drive, would you be available to ride along and supervise/chat with students?
We value the prayers of God’s people! Can you pray for our students and our youth ministry needs? Flyers are available in the entryway for ideas on how you can pray for our youth.
Weekend Experience
The first faces that visitors, even members, see when they walk into our church are those of our greeters. While we may not be able to hug right now, sometimes a smile and a “welcome home” is all a visitor needs to feel welcome! Please, if you have a desire to help greet those people walking into our church on a Sunday morning, reach out and let us know.
Sunday mornings are the time to worship. Our worship team would gladly have you to help out. Whether it’s as part of our front of house team or being willing to get up on stage and play an instrument or sing, we’ve got a place for you.
Stage Team
Our stage team consists of both our vocalists and our instrumentalists. If you can sing or play an instrument, let us know! We’ll get you involved.
Front of House Team
Our front of house team consists of those who run our sound for in-person services, those who run our sound and video for our live stream, and those who run slides for worship! You don’t need to have experience here, we’ll train you.
If you want to sing, but don’t want to be part of a smaller group, then choir may be the perfect spot for you. You still get to sing with a group of people and lead the congregation in worship, but you are not one of just a few people on stage. Our choir shares one special piece of music every few weeks and then they get a break. Interested? We’d love to have you!
Remember putting on puppet shows as a kid? Did you love it? Did you love making the puppets sing along with your favorite songs? That’s what this team is all about. You’ll get to work with others who share the same passion and want to entertain not only our little kids but our general congregation as well.
Administrative Teams
Maybe being a face of the church is not something you really like. Maybe helping clean up or setting out tables and chairs for events, or even helping decorate our stage is something you’d be more comfortable doing. If so, our facilities team would love to have you.
You know the type, the one who always has friends and family asking for your help fixing their computers. They’re the ones that loved taking electronics apart and putting them back together. If that’s you, we’d love to have you. Whether it means fixing computers here or helping out with our network troubles, come join us, we have cookies!
