G’day mates! We kick-started our 2022 Vacation Bible School with a Zoomerang theme on the Sanctity of Life and the land down under! The kids learned about the beauty of Australia, the great barrier reef, and all the amazing animals of the land down under. Most importantly, they learned about God and how from the youngest to the oldest, each one of us is created in the image of God.
All week the kids brought cash and raided piggy banks to raise money with the goal of helping feed kids in other countries. Each night the excitement grew to see who brought the most money…girls or the boys! What a great opportunity to teach the kids about helping others by raising money for meals for kids just like them across the world.
During VBS the kids enjoyed a meal each night and participated in fun water games to beat the heat. Crafts were planned around the theme and our music team taught the kids fun VBS songs. Each night the kids learned about different faith-filled Bible lessons, and they had a Mission’s class too, to learn about people in different countries and how we can serve God at a young age!
Our end of VBS Celebration was at the end of the week on Sunday, where parents had the opportunity to listen to the kids sing their songs, they learned during our Sunday morning service. A fun line up followed with a church wide cook out lunch and inflatable obstacle course bounce house!
What a way to end VBS 2022! The whole week was a blast, and we would like to thank the parents, kids and volunteers for being a part of Park Baptist Church Vacation Bible School. See you in 2023!
